AWS re/Start run by Unlimited in Nepal is a free, full-time classroom based skills development program to jump-start your career working in cloud computing. A technology background is not required to apply and the program is focused on unemployed and underemployed individuals.

AWS re/Start and Unlimited have collaborated to offer this tuition free, in-person program in Kathmandu, Nepal. Through scenario-based learning, hands-on labs, and coursework, learners gain the skills they need for an entry-level cloud role. In the program, you’ll also focus on professional skills such as adaptive communication, time management, resume building, and interviewing to prepare for employer meeting and interviews. You will learn cloud computing skills and prepare for AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification with free access to practice and full exams. After you graduate, Unlimited will connect you with employers and help you move into your new working life.

Here are some minimum eligibility a learner should meet:

Learner has to provide address, identity proof (citizenship/ passport), updated photo and resume


Earned +2 or higher secondary school certificate


Should have a laptop computer and tablet/smartphone with high-speed internet connectivity at home

What is AWS re/Start Program?

AWS re/Start training run by Unlimited in Nepal is a cohort-based workforce development training program run in Nepal by Unlimited, that prepares individuals for entry to mid-level cloud careers. After 12 weeks of in-person classroom training, we will connect AWS re/Start program run by Unlimited in Nepal graduates with potential employers.

How much does this program cost?

The program is free for all applicants on successful completion of the program. A deposit of NPR 25,000 shall be collected at the beginning of the program which will be fully refunded on successful attending 95% of the classes of the 12 week program.

Why is the deposit collected and then refunded at the end of the program?

Deposit is collected to ensure, only committed learners get into the program and complete their training. We want to avoid those learners, who may join without any interest to complete the program or don’t engage with the batch-mates positively.

I don’t live in Kathmandu, Nepal, but I am interested – can I apply?

Unfortunately, as of now this program is only for individuals who can attend classroom training in Kathmandu.

How do I connect with job opportunities after I’ve completed the program?

After you have successfully completed our training, we provide placement assistance by helping schedule interviews with hiring employers

Do I need any tech experience to be eligible for the program?

No IT/Tech experience is required to be eligible for the program. Please refer the eligibility criteria mentioned on the website.

Will I have to pay additional cost to appear AWS certification exams?

No. If you enrol this program you will get an opportunity to appear for AWS Certification exams without any additional cost.

Is the AWS training based on the latest exam pattern?

Yes, the AWS training course reflect the latest exam pattern CLF-C01.

in loving memory of
Late Dr Alisha Tuladhar

This program is run by Unlimited in memory of our loved one, Dr Alisha Tuladhar, born on May 31, 1993, and passed away on September 11, 2022. We will remember her forever.

She completed her schooling from Malpi International School, A Levels from Rato Bangla School, Bachelor's from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Oita, Japan; and Master's and PhD studies from University of Bath, United Kingdom.

She was working as a Researcher with University Surrey.

She loved to share her skills and knowledge and as part of Professors Without Borders has been to Thailand; Lucknow, India and rural parts of Nepal to conduct training and this program is a hope that we will continue her legacy and what she believed in.
