MOvie Day

On Friday, June 9 at 4:00 PM, both cohorts of learners of AWS (AMAZON WEB SERVICES) re/Start were treated to a showing of the Australian biographical movie “True Spirit” directed by Sarah Spillane, based on the memoir of Jessica Watson. The movie tells the inspiring story of an Australian sailor who attempted a solo global circumnavigation at the age of 16. The movie was made available for streaming on Netflix on February 3, 2023, and was shown to the learners as a way to break the monotony of training sessions and provide an opportunity for everyone to relax and enjoy some entertainment. The event was organized and was hosted in the office auditorium itself. Popcorn and drinks were provided to the learners, and everyone was encouraged to sit back, relax, and enjoy the movie.
